The private client who won't pay «until it works»: the consumer's forum and the dispute
The situation
Marco Guidetti had his flat rewired by Acme: quote signed in February, a 1,500 € down payment in May, a 4,880 € invoice due on 14 June. To the end-of-June reminder he replied by e-mail that the bathroom's RCD keeps tripping and he pays when the system works. The office uploads the invoice, the signed quote, his e-mail and the bank export.
The documents
The same files the agent was handed. Open them before you read the rest: the names, addresses and VAT numbers are invented, the structure is not.
What the agent does
The same four phases as every run, in order. In the console you watch them go by one at a time, with the credits beside them.
- 01DiagnoseReads the input and decides what the job actually is.
- 02AssemblePicks tools, data sources and the model you chose.
- 03ActDoes the work. Anything that leaves the building waits for approval.
- 04AssessChecks its output against your rules before settling credits.
The result
Result being recorded
This scenario is ready, but its real run has not been recorded yet. Until it has, there is nothing to show here: we would rather print one honest line than a fake result.
What to look for
A private person is not a business: no D.Lgs. 231/2002 interest and no 40 €, only the legal interest from the formal notice; the forum is the consumer's (art. 66-bis of the Consumer Code), and with 3,380 € outstanding — the bank export takes May's down payment off by itself — the court is the justice of the peace. Above all, the first line says the debtor contests: his e-mail reports a defect, and an order on a disputed claim will almost certainly be opposed. The notice goes by registered letter, and the dossier tells the lawyer to weigh it first.
