Cable per km against 100 m coils: cheaper per metre is not cheaper
The situation
For the second lot — cable and conduit — Rossi prices the cable per km off its cable list and the 503E boxes per 100 pieces; Padane sells the same goods in whole 100 m coils, 25 m rolls and packs of 25. On paper no line has the same unit.
The documents
The same files the agent was handed. Open them before you read the rest: the names, addresses and VAT numbers are invented, the structure is not.
What the agent does
The same four phases as every run, in order. In the console you watch them go by one at a time, with the credits beside them.
- 01DiagnoseReads the input and decides what the job actually is.
- 02AssemblePicks tools, data sources and the model you chose.
- 03ActDoes the work. Anything that leaves the building waits for approval.
- 04AssessChecks its output against your rules before settling credits.
The result
Result being recorded
This scenario is ready, but its real run has not been recorded yet. Until it has, there is nothing to show here: we would rather print one honest line than a fake result.
What to look for
The FS17 4 mm² is cheaper per metre at Padane (€0.72 against €0.7547), but 250 m are 3 coils paid as 300 m: Rossi wins the line, and the comparison says so. The split order takes the 5G6 and the 4 mm² from Rossi and the rest from Padane: €1,744.25 instead of €1,800.90, the cheapest complete offer.
