The situation
On 6 October Officine Brentella ordered 35 articles of fasteners, pneumatics and electrical parts from Rossi Componenti Industriali, the Vicenza wholesaler, for assembling two machines: list prices with the 40+10+5 discount, fasteners priced per 100, carriage paid, Ri.Ba. at 60 days end of month. On the 9th the confirmation arrives, two pages: quantities in packs and rolls, prices per pack, a few notes in small print. Checking it by hand against the ERP export, line by line, takes half an hour; and the clause says that after 48 hours it counts as accepted.
