«A lorry arrives with no delivery note: what do I do?»
The situation
It is the first day at the goods-in desk and the new clerk hits exactly the case nobody has explained to them yet: a lorry with no delivery note, a driver in a hurry, and no colleague free. The warehouse procedure is attached to the question and the answer is inside it, in two different places.
The documents
The same files the agent was handed. Open them before you read the rest: the names, addresses and VAT numbers are invented, the structure is not.
What the agent does

The result
Se un camion arriva senza Documento di Trasporto (DDT), non devi scaricare la merce. La procedura prevede di avvisare il capo magazzino e di attendere che il documento venga inviato dal fornitore. La merce non può entrare senza il DDT.

What to look for
A short answer that says what to do now — do not unload, tell the warehouse manager, keep the lorry where it is — with the quotations copied out of the procedure and the page they are on: the non-conformity table and the worked case of 3 March. No hand-off to a person, because the procedure answers by itself.
