E1TrainingOnboarding tutor for new staff
An onboarding tutor for new staff that answers from your procedures
A new hire asks what to do — a lorry with no delivery note, lunch with a customer on the company card — and gets a short answer from your own procedures, with the quote and its page, or the name of the person to ask. The same questions stop landing on you.
The problem
A newcomer's questions — a truck without a delivery note, a lunch on the company card, holidays — keep landing on the same people, even when the answer is already written in a procedure.
Who it is for, and when
- Who it is for
- The new hire or apprentice in the warehouse, on site or in the office who has the question — and the HR or operations manager who owns the procedures and cannot answer every question in person.
- When
- In a newcomer's first weeks, every time they are unsure about a procedure and no colleague is free — the questions that would otherwise interrupt the manager five times a day.
What you give it, what you get
You give it
Your procedures, manuals and the onboarding folder, once, in the agent's Knowledge (PDF, photo, text or Excel); then each question in the asker's own words and, if you like, where they are in the training plan. A procedure can also be attached to a single question.
You get
A short answer saying what to do now, the quotes copied from the materials with document and page, what to study next, and — when the materials do not cover the question or a person must decide — a stated hand-over with the name of the person to ask.
How it works, in three steps
- Type the new hire's question
- Read the answer and the quotes
- Follow the next step, or ask the person named
On its own, in a flow. Publish it as an app for new hires: they ask from their phone or computer, and when the materials are not enough the answer names the person to turn to — the manager answers only what really needs a person.
The rules it applies
In the agent's own words: what it checks and what it never does.
- Answers only from your own materials
- Shows the passage behind every answer
- Escalates by name instead of guessing
- Answers only from your own materials, every claim with its quote and page; when they do not cover the question it says so and names the person to ask — never a guess.
A real example
A case from the demo catalogue, with anonymised documents.
«A lorry arrives with no delivery note: what do I do?»
It is the first day at the goods-in desk and the new clerk hits exactly the case nobody has explained to them yet: a lorry with no delivery note, a driver in a hurry, and no colleague free. The warehouse procedure is attached to the question and the answer is inside it, in two different places.
The recorded result
Se un camion arriva senza Documento di Trasporto (DDT), non devi scaricare la merce. La procedura prevede di avvisare il capo magazzino e di attendere che il documento venga inviato dal fornitore. La merce non può entrare senza il DDT.

Frequently asked questions
What does it answer when the procedures do not cover the question?
It says so in the first line and names the person to ask — never a guess, and it writes to nobody. When it answers, every claim has its quote with document and page.
What does it cost, and how long does it take?
Usually 15–31 credits a question (≈ €0.62–1.28) and 1–3 minutes. It depends on the materials: attaching a long binder costs more than a question on documents already in Knowledge. The recorded example cost 20 credits in 87 seconds.
Can it run on its own, in a flow?
Publish it as an app for new hires: they ask from their phone or computer, and when the materials are not enough the answer names the person to turn to — the manager answers only what really needs a person.
Who checks what the agent did?
You do — and it takes a minute, not an afternoon. Every run is a trace: the live timeline, each tool call, each document read, the cost per step, the confidence and sources. Actions that leave the building wait for your approval. The platform never sends, never touches a live store, never moves money.
Where does my data live, and how do you handle GDPR?
Your data is stored in the EU, on one server in Germany. The EU/US data-region setting limits which models an agent can be saved with, not where your data is stored. A no-retention mode and a local runner on your own machine are available. Your plan sets how many days your data is kept — you can change it — and when they run out it is deleted automatically. You download each run's results and delete files, agents and connections in the console; an owner deletes the whole workspace and each person their own account from Settings. The “Your data” page names the services that handle your data.
